PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two people were injured in a crash between a minivan and a motorcycle on Wednesday evening, September 21.
Portage Public Safety Police and the Portage Fire Department responded to the intersection of East Centre Avenue and Portage Road around 9:30 p.m.
Authorities say the driver of the white minivan that was traveling west on East Centre attempted a left turn to head south on Portage Road when they were struck by the motorcycle heading eastbound on East Centre.
The driver of the motorcycle and his passenger were both transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and neither of them were wearing helmets.
The driver of the van was uninjured in the crash which remains under investigation.
