Community invited to remember 9-11 through commemorative service on Friday

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Area 9-11 Committee will hold it’s annual observance of 9-11 on Friday, September 9.

While prior services have been held at Bronson Park, organizers say this year’s observance will take place on Soisson-Rapacz-Clason Field (Mayors Riverfront Park), at 251 Mills Street in Kalamazoo.

A brief service of remembrance and reflection will take place at 6:45 p.m., prior to the start of the Kalamazoo United / Schoolcraft football game.

There will be no admission charge for those attending the 9-11 ceremony only.
