ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — St. Joseph County deputies have arrested the man involved in the hours-long standoff Saturday, September 3, in Three Rivers.
33-year-old Kenneth Scott, a wanted fugitive, was arrested on Tuesday, September 6, while walking his bike in Fabius Township around noon in the area of Hoffman Road near Pulver Road.
Scott had been on the run for days after escaping police during Saturday’s standoff at Riverside Apartments and Townhomes.
He managed to flee police by breaking through several walls in adjacent apartments.
According to St. Joseph County Court records, Scott had outstanding warrants for home invasion, safe breaking, fleeing police, and weapons charges.
He was arrested on Tuesday and taken to the St. Joseph County jail without incident.
