DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Jeimer Candelario drove in two runs but the Detroit Tigers fell 5-3 to the Seattle Mariners at home Wednesday night.
Alex Lange took the loss for Detroit.
Marco Gonzales earned his 10th win after allowing three runs over six frames. Eugenio Suarez and Abraham Toro each went deep for the Mariners, who improved to 72-and-58. Paul Sewald notched his 17th save of the season in the victory.
The Tigers fall to 50-and-80 and will host the Mariners in the series finale this afternoon, with the opening pitch at 1:10 p.m.
