U of M softball coach to retire

ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – University of Michigan softball coach Carol Hutchins is retiring.

She is the winningest coach in NCAA softball history with 1,707 wins and the 2005 national championship. Hutchins won 22 regular season championships, ten Big Ten tournaments, and 29 NCAA Tournaments.

She says she is incredibly grateful to the university for the “opportunity of a lifetime.”
