GRAND LEDGE, MI — There will be lots of activity near and around several Grand Ledge School buildings today. The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office, the Grand Ledge Police and Fire Departments and Grand Ledge Public Schools have scheduled Active Violence Training exercises on site at Grand Ledge High School and Neff Elementary today.
Officials point out the full-scale training for multiple agencies is designed to ensure an appropriate plan is in place to effectively respond to an active violence incident.
Several streets near Grand Ledge High School be closed to traffic today from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., officials say. Emergency vehicles will be in the area of school buildings throughout the day today.
