KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety police are searching for the suspect who fired shots at them while they were responding to an armed robbery.
Officers first responded to the robbery in the 2100 block of South Burdick Street around 10:30 Saturday evening, August 13.
The suspect vehicle was then located in the 4300 block of South Burdick Street where the suspect fled on foot and shot at officers.
One weapon was recovered however, authorities say the suspect is still on the loose.
Through the investigation, the detective bureau was able to obtain photos of the suspect during the robbery.
There were no injuries reported. Police are asking anyone with information to call the Kalamazoo County Central Dispatch Authority at 269-488-8911.
