DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Eric Haase drove in a run but the Detroit Tigers fell 5-2 to the Cleveland Guardians Tuesday night at Comerica Park.
Tyler Alexander allowed two runs over seven innings for Detroit in the loss.
Shane Bieber got the win pitching seven scoreless innings while giving up just four hits and striking out eight. Amed Rosario went three-for-four at the plate with an R-B-I while Oscar Gonzalez drove in two runs.
The Tigers are 43-and-68 and will host Cleveland again tonight, with the opening pitch at 7:10 p.m. The final game of the three game series is Thursday afternoon.
