KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo County Youth Fair and Family Festival has been reimagined for 2022.
Organizers say the all new event will focus on highlighting the 4-H programs and youth education, while also providing agricultural education to children and families in our community.
4-H livestock and horse shows will take place Wednesday, August 10 and Thursday, August 11. The 4-H livestock auction will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. to give 4-H youth an opportunity to sell their animals and earn money.
The public is welcome to watch the 4-H youth show their animals and bid at the auction.
The fair will culminate in a new family festival for the public Saturday, August 13 from 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., with fun kid’s entertainment and activities, an Inflatable Fun Zone, 4-H exhibits, food vendors, plus hands-on demonstrations led by 4-H youth.
A silent auction benefiting the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail and the Fair will also be held on Friday and Saturday.
Admission for the Kalamazoo County Youth Fair and Family Festival is $5.00 per vehicle Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and $15.00 per vehicle Saturday.
The Kalamazoo County Expo Center and Fairgrounds is located in Kalamazoo, at 2900 Lake St.
