KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo County Youth Fair & Family Festival has been reimagined for 2022.
Organizers say the all new event will focus on highlighting 4-H programs and youth education, while providing agricultural education to children and families.
4-H livestock and horse shows are set to take place Wednesday, August 10, and Thursday, August 11.
The 4-H livestock auction will be held on Friday afternoon, August 12 at 1 p.m., giving 4-H youth an opportunity to sell their animals and earn money. The public is welcome to attend.
The fair culminates in a new family festival for the public on Saturday, August 13 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. offering kid’s entertainment and activities to include an Inflatable Fun Zone, 4-H exhibits, food vendors, plus hands-on demonstrations led by 4-H youth.
A silent auction benefiting the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail and the Fair also to be held on Friday and Saturday as well.
