BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Calhoun County Senior Services has announced the Calhoun County Senior Fair will return September 8 after it had been cancelled the past two years due to COVID-19.
In the past, this event has been held at the Marshall Middle School.
This year’s fair will be held at the Kellogg Arena in downtown Battle Creek. Hours on September 8 will be from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m..
Due to construction, the main entrance to the event will be on West Hamblin Avenue.
Parking will be located at Full Blast and the South McCamly parking lot.
Community Action will provide shuttles from each parking lot at regular intervals.
Organizers say the new venue will provide more room to accommodate visitors and vendors.
The event is open to everyone but will be especially helpful for older adults, caregivers, and family members.
Transportation to the Senior Fair is available through Community Action. To schedule a ride, call Community Action in advance at (269) 565-4144.
