MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WKZO AM/FM) – Gio Urshela provided the heroics in the Twins 5-3, ten inning win over the Detroit Tigers at Target Field. Urshela hit a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the tenth to lead Minnesota to victory. Jose Miranda had a game-tying single in the eighth and the tenth in the victory, and Griffin Jax earned his fifth win out of the bullpen. The 54-and-48 Twins lead the AL Central by one game over the Guardians. Alex Lange was tagged with the loss for Detroit. The Tigers have lost three games in a row. They play at Minnesota again tonight.
