KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety police were called out to what they say was a two-vehicle accident with one of the vehicles leaving the scene.
Authorities say it happened around 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, on Westnedge Avenue when a vehicle hit a utility pole.
Consumer’s Energy crews responded as police closed off both northbound and southbound Westnedge Avenue between West Maple Street and Parkwood Street.
The vehicle that hit the utility pole was towed away around 9:30.
There were no injuries reported and all lanes on Westnedge Avenue were reopened by 10 a.m.
