Tony Finau and Taylor Pendrith lead Detroit’s Rocket Mortgage Classic after the opening round

DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) –  Two players are tied atop the leaderboard after the first round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit.

Tony Finau and Taylor Pendrith are leading the way after finishing eight under par at the Detroit Golf Club.

Five others are tied for third place after the first round of the tournament. Michael Thompson, Webb Simpson, Cameron Champ, Lee Hodges and Matt Wallace all finished the opening round six under par.
