ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) -The body of an Allegan County man who went missing while returning home from a concert Sunday night in Grand Rapids has been found.
Michigan State Police confirmed Wednesday evening that the body of 31-year-old Logan Sweet of Hamilton was found around 3:20 p.m. near 134th Avenue and 32nd Street in Monterey Township, between Hamilton and Dorr.
The police investigation showed Sweet had left the roadway and hit a tree. His body was discovered by a search volunteer..
Sweet had been reported missing Monday, after he never came home from a Sunday night concert at the Listening Room, on Ionia Avenue SW between Cherry and Oaks streets in Grand Rapids.
Sweet reportedly told his wife he was headed home around 9:55 p.m. He was riding his 2022 Kawasaki 650 charcoal gray sport bike.
Wednesday, family, friends and total strangers were searching in organized parties in an area between Dorr and Hamilton. The search base was located at Salem Township Hall in Dorr Township.
