LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — With a front organization for the Democratic Governors Association buying $1.6 million in television advertising between now and Election Day, Tudor Dixon continues her lead for the Republican nomination for governor at (28%) over Kevin Rinke at (22%).
Despite Rinke gaining another 2% on Dixon over the past week, it appears Dixon has stopped the he had shown in the last survey when he gained 7% in just 10 days.
Both Ryan Kelley (14%) and Garrett Soldano (11%) seem to be stalled at the same percentage they’ve had for two weeks.
Ralph Rebandt (1%) is far behind, according to the most recent Mitchell-MIRS Poll of likely August Republican Party Primary voters conducted by Mitchell
Research & Communications, Inc. with about a quarter of voters still undecided.
The poll, commissioned by MIRS, a Lansing based capital news service, used a combination of IVR (automated) surveys to landlines (50%) and text messaging to cell phones directing the cell phone users to a SurveyMonkey poll (50%).
The survey of N=436 Likely Voters was conducted July 24-25, 2022 and has a Margin of Error of + or – 5% at the 95% level of confidence.
