LANSING, MI — A General Motors manufacturing plant in Delta Township just west of Lansing is to close this week due to supply chain issues.
Company spokesperson Erin Davis says the assembly plant will be closed from July 18 through July 25 because of “short term supply chain disruptions” with the computer chips needed to produce the vehicles. The plant currently builds the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave sport utility vehicles.
GM says the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant just south of downtown Lansing is not being affected by the shut down at Delta Township.
