DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers swept a doubleheader with the Guardians at Comerica Park on Monday.
Detroit won the first game 4-1 and the second one 5-3.
Garrett Hill gave up just one run over six innings to win his MLB debut in the first game.
The second game was tied heading into the sixth inning until Riley Greene drove in a run for the Tigers and Eric Haase hit a homer the following inning.
The Tigers are 32-and-47. They play Cleveland again Tuesday night. The opening pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. EDT.
