UPDATE: At 5:50 p.m. the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office reported Kent Veasy has been located and is safe.
KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 37-year-old male who was reported missing on Saturday, June 2.
According to a news release from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 5300 block of North 8th Street in Oshtemo Township around 12:01 p.m. in search Joshua Kent Veasy of Kalamazoo.
They were unsuccessful after checking the area for several hours using utility task vehicles, (UTVs), and drones.
Police describe Veasy as a white male, 5’9″ weighing about 200 lbs, brown hair and a short beard.
He was last seen wearing a gray Detroit Lions t-shirt, ball cap, gray shorts and black and white tennis shoes, and yellow framed glasses.
Veasy suffers from cognitive disabilities and has medical events when around warm temperatures for a prolonged amount of time.
Authorities area asking anyone who may have seen Veasy to contact the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office or dial 911.
