KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – High school students will be required to take a financial literacy course starting with freshman in 2024.
Governor Whitmer signed that bill into law this week, pleasing people at Western Michigan University’s Dollars and Sense Summer Camp.
Instructor Todd Mora says it will have a big impact to teach kids about using credit responsibly, home buying, saving and more.
The bill had bipartisan support.
