ALBION, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Calhoun County Public Health Department has announced they are relocating its Albion location to the Cram Building at 115 Market Place starting on July 5, 2022.
A press release from the Public Health Department listed several reasons why its leaving the current location at 214 East Michigan Avenue.
The news release stated, “Moving to the Cram Building creates a one-stop health service location for the CCPHD.”
It went on to say this will allow the department to increase partnerships, outreach, existing department program expansion, and ease for clients to access various health-related services while receiving services from the department.
Currently within the Cram Building are Grace Health dental services, a pair of community health navigators, the Albion Health Care Alliance administrative offices, Oaklawn Audiology and Whole Family Direct Care.
Services and assistance include enrollment services for MDHHS, Social Security, health insurance, prescription drug access programs, utility assistance programs, and referrals and advocacy.
The old health department office on East Michigan Avenue in Albion will be closed June 23 to allow for packing and moving.
The Battle Creek Office at 190 East Michigan Avenue will be open during this time to serve residents seeking health department services during the Albion office closure.
