FREDONIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two men were injured Thursday night in Calhoun County’s Fredonia Township when their motorcycle crashed.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened at about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of J Drive South and 15 ½ Mile Road.
They say the two men, ages 43 and 24, were riding a motorcycle when they lost control and slid about 50 yards into a guardrail.
The Fredonia Township Fire Department responded and established a landing zone for Air Care.
One man was flown by helicopter to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
The other male was transported by a LifeCare Ambulance to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
The Calhoun County Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.
At this time it is not known what may have been a factor which caused the motorcycle to lose control.
