KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – With signs reading “My body, my choice,” and “Keep abortion rights safe and legal,” about 60 abortion rights advocates marched through downtown Kalamazoo on Saturday.
Demonstrators spoke out against a leaked draft legal opinion that suggested the U.S. Supreme Court would overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that established abortion as a constitutional right.
The group started their rally outside the federal building on Michigan Avenue, and then marched to Bronson Park and the Kalamazoo Mall.
