KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Three suspects are in custody after police found guns and drugs in a bust on Kalamazoo’s Northside Monday.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says at approximately 10:22 p.m. officers on a directed patrol in the 700 block of Douglas Ave for quality-of-life concerns observed a group of subjects gambling in front of a business. When officers went to address the group, one suspect discarded a handgun. A second suspect was also found to be in possession of a handgun.
A third suspect was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics.
The suspects, a 34-year-old, 21-year-old, and 37-year-old, all Kalamazoo residents, were arrested on various drug and weapon charges.
