KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Outlier Events is partnering with Undeniably Dairy, Local Love, South Michigan Food Bank and the Kalamazoo Growlers to bring Mac and Cheese Fest back to Homer Stryker Field.
And due to high local demand, the Fest will run for two days for the first time since it’s creation on Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, May 4, and organizers say to get them soon because last year’s event sold out in under 3 weeks.
Tickets already went on sale on Thursday, April 21 to those who have joined the priority list at http://macandcheesemi.com. Tickets will not be available to the general public until May 4 with no guarantee they’ll still be available at that time. Officials recommend joining the priority list on the website.
The Mac and Cheese Fest will feature local establishments’ take on the cheesy dish and will encourage wackiness when coming up with food selections, giving those in attendance to see anything from mac pizza to a cheesy doughnut and everything in between.
In addition to mac as far as the eye can see, guests can expect various games and other entertainment as well.
