BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The cause of a fire which resulted in over $300,000 worth of damage to a Battle Creek home is under investigation by the Fire Marshal.
The blaze at 134 Lathrop Avenue was reported Thursday afternoon at 1:56 p.m..
Heavy fire was coming from the back of the wood frame single family dwelling when the first crews arrived on the scene.
Firefighters managed to make a coordinated interior attack and quickly gain control of the flames.
They then performed overhaul and checked for any extension. No injuries were reported.
