Section of Washington Avenue in Battle Creek to close for sewer repair

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Battle Creek city crews are set to close a section of Washington Avenue on Thursday, April 21, for a sewer repair.  

The closure will be between Ann Avenue and Walter Avenue with the work taking place from approximately 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The repair is expected to be complete by Friday, April 22, weather permitting.   

Thru traffic and emergency vehicles will not have access as there will be a detour in place.  Motorists should be aware of construction activity and follow posted signs.
