LAWTON, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A weekend fire caused what responders are describing as significant damage to an auto repair business in Lawton.
Firefighters from Decatur, Lawton, and Paw Paw were called out to Ericksen’s Garage on North Main Street around 8 a.m. Saturday, April 9.
Authorities say they were able to get the fire under control within an hour and that no one was hurt. However, the fire caused significant damage to the garage, front office and several cars.
The exact cause of the fire is under investigation.
