KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — OutFront Kalamazoo announced the resignation of Amy Hunter as Executive Director of the organization on Thursday, April 7. The OutFront Kalamazoo Board accepted this resignation on Saturday, April 2.
In a release issued from the organization on Thursday, April 7, Board Co-Chairs Angelita Aguilar and Zac Bauer said,”The Board of Directors would like to thank Amy for her contributions and work with the organization and in our community. We thank her and hope to have opportunities to collaborate with Amy in the future. We wish her the best in her future endeavors.”
Tracy Hall, who already serves on the Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners, will serve as Interim Executive Director from now until June 30 while a search for a new director ensues.
OutFront Kalamazoo is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to create a just, inclusive, equitable, and supportive environment in Southwest Michigan for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions.
