KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kzoo Parks and the Kalamazoo Soccer Club are set to host youth soccer programs beginning this Saturday, April 9.
The programs will be divided up into two age segments: Mini Kickers (Ages 5-7) and Little Tots (Ages 3-4).
Organizers say the goal of the two six-week programs is to introduce kids to soccer, and that they will be taught by licensed coaches from the Kalamazoo Soccer Club.
Mini Kickers and Little Tots programs will meet on Saturdays between April 9 and May 14, with Little Tots meeting between 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. followed by Mini Kickers from 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Registration is available online at www.kzooparks.org/soccer or in-person at the Kzoo Parks office at 251 Mills St through Thursday, April 7. A t-shirt will be included with registration.
