MARSHALL, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – As part of the Michigan Department of Transportation’s ongoing $210 million project to rebuild I-69 between Island Highway in Charlotte and I-94 in Marshall, work will begin next Monday, April 4, on the I-94/I-69 interchange with the building of temporary crossovers.
It’s estimated the work will take a couple of weeks.
Drivers can expect one lane of traffic will be closed in each direction on I-94 at I-69 and they should seek alternate routes.
M.D.O.T. officials say the improvements will provide increased safety and mobility in this area of I-69.
Funding for this project is made possible by the Rebuilding Michigan program to rebuild the state highways and bridges that are critical to the state’s economy and carry the most traffic.
