KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gary Mitchell, PhD, officially kicked off his campaign for State Representative in the 42nd District Tuesday.
In a campaign release, the Republican said, “I’m running for State Representative to end the corruption in Lansing,” Mitchell said. “We must stand up and stand together for the greater good of our Communities and State, and We the People.”
Mitchell says that the corruption is deep and must be investigated in order to ensure Michigan is once again free and fair.
“Our election in 2020 was stolen and our present legislators refused to do anything about it,” Mitchell said. “For a long time, they refused to stop our Governor’s illegal mandates which closed down businesses and refused to do election audits as demanded by more than 10,000 citizens and required in the Michigan constitution.”
Mitchell’s release said that it is time for real science to lead decision making in Lansing.
“Health care, doctor choice, vaccine use are issues of personal and parental choice,” Mitchell said. “Government should be there to collect data, study the science and offer information, but never to mandate. Mask mandates and vaccine mandates are totally inappropriate in a free country.”
Earlier this month Parchment resident Justin Mendoza began his campaign for the newly drawn 42nd Michigan State House District as a Democrat.
