LANSING, MI — Nearly one in six people in Mid-Michigan faces food insecurity. That adds up to some 92,000 residents of Mid-Michigan that lack consistent access to food.

In addition, Menards Home Improvement Stores across mid-Michigan are serving as drop sites for local food pantries through the month of March. Non-perishable food items that can be donated to food pantries, including boxes of cereal and cans of soup.
