Pearson makes NHL debut, but Red Wings fall to the Islanders 5-2

ELMONT, NY (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings lost to the New York Islanders 5-2 on the road last night.

Pius Suter and Sam Gagner each scored, while Chase Pearson had one shot on goal in his NHL debut with Detroit.

The Red Wings host the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night.
