KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The investigation continues into a fire at a vacant home on East Vine Street in Kalamazoo early Friday.
At 12:17 a.m. the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety was dispatched to 1000 block of E Vine Street for a report of a house fire. When officers arrived, heavy smoke and fire was seen coming from the vacant home. The fire was brought under control in about 45 minutes. No injuries were reported.
The Kalamazoo Public Safety Fire Marshall is investigating the incident.
Probably another person that chooses to burn their homes down…….always knowing that the City will provide them with something much better. Kalamazoo County Enablers!
Yah right!!! As if they’d help anybody who needed help. I’d rather see some poor stuck from Kalamazoo get an energy efficient practical home than these crooked municipalities keep padding their bank accounts and handing all the contracts out to their friends and relatives…But it was vacant so it was probably one of THEM that set the fire so some swanky lawyers can build.
