ST. JOHNS, MI — Michigan State Police troopers shot and injured a 34-year-old St. Johns man after he shot at them Thursday afternoon at a residence south of St. Johns near Price Road. Troopers were at the home on Old US 27 to arrest the man on a warrant when he opened fire, and they returned shots. No police officers were injured in the shooting.
The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say a 34-year-old woman was also arrested at the residence on an unrelated warrant following the incident.
