KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Western Michigan University’s second Business Technology and Research park off Drake Road is nearly full.
WMU Board of Trustees approved the sale of two more lots at this month’s meeting.
B-T-R Two already has a cancer clinic operated by Borgess Ascension.
One of the new occupants will be a research facility owned by the Bronson Healthcare group. The other will be a local firm called Faraday Defense Corporation, which manufactures shielding for electronic equipment.
Vice President for Finance Jan Van Der Kley says there is just one lot left.
The two new operations will create 160 to 180 new jobs at the Business Park.
