DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – DeMar DeRozan scored 36 points in the Chicago Bulls’ 114-108 win over the Pistons in Detroit.
Backcourt mate Zach LaVine chipped in with 25 points and Nikola Vucevic had 21 points for Chicago. The Bulls improved to 40-and-26 and ended a five-game losing skid.
Rookie Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 22 points, making him the fourth rookie in team history to score 20 or more points in five straight games. Jerami Grant, Saddiq Bey and Kelly Olynyk each scored 12 points.
The Pistons had won three in a row coming in and fell to 18-and-48. They play in Boston tomorrow night.
