KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Final Gravity Brewing Company at 103 North Phelps Street in Decatur and at 246 North Burdick Street in Kalamazoo is getting ready to stand with the people of Ukraine who are standing up to the invasion by Russia.
On Tuesday, March 8th, company staff will put their expertise to work through a solidarity brew to raise funds to help Ukraine.
Through a live stream taking place at 11 a.m. Ukrainian Time, 6 a.m. back in Southwest Michigan, brewers with Pravda Brewery in Lviv, will link up with those at Final Gravity to give them brewing sessions for several special batches called Victory Series.
Since having to convert their operations to making molotov cocktails, the Ukrainian brewery is hoping to get more brewing companies world-wide involved.
Final Gravity is set to donate 10% of the proceeds to the humanitarian relief found of Ukraine and hopes that other Michigan breweries, as well as others throughout the U.S. will participate in the collaborative brew.
