KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The City of Kalamazoo will hold a virtual Zoom meeting Thursday, February 24, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. to discuss the upcoming reconstruction of Parkview Avenue.
City officials say project is expected to start in April and will include a repaved roadway, upgraded water main, new water service lines, and pedestrian improvements.
City staff will present information on the planned improvements, scope, timeline, phased detouring, and other aspects of the reconstruction work and will also be available to answer any questions residents may have about the project.
Parkview Avenue reconstruction was originally scheduled to be completed in 2021 but was postponed due to supply chain shortages.
Residents can join the meeting via the Zoom link (https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82535922695) and ask questions using the webinar’s Q&A Chat box. Residents can also call in to listen to the meeting by dialing 269-552-6425 and entering Meeting ID 825 3592 2695.
