LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Several more groups are planning to file another lawsuit against a commission that recently adopted new voting districts in Michigan, claiming the newly redrawn districts unfairly favor Republicans in the state.
The League of Women Voters of Michigan, Detroit Action and the National Network for Arab American Communities plan to file their lawsuit in the Michigan Supreme Court against the Independent Citizens Redistricting Committee
This is the third lawsuit to filed against the commission after the new districts were approved.
