LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Whitmer presents her “State of the State” address Wednesday, and two topics that are expected to be covered will be the state’s continued response to the pandemic, and how she and state lawmakers can work together to allocate billions of dollars in pandemic relief money.
Whitmer’s address will once again be virtual, the second year she has decided to give the address in that manner.
Whitmer is also expected to ask legislators to increase the income tax credit for low- and moderate-income workers in Michigan.
The “State of the State” address is set to begin at 7 tonight.
