BERRIEN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Detectives with the Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET), along with Michigan State Police troopers from the Niles post, are announcing the arrest of one man after a drug bust.
A search warrant was executed Tuesday in the 9500 block of Old U.S. Highway 31 in Berrien Township.
A 34-year-old Berrien Springs male suspect, who is currently on probation, was found in possession of about 50 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Scales and other evidence of meth trafficking were also located.
The suspect was arrested and lodged in the Berrien County Jail for a probation violation, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine (second offense) and maintaining a drug house.
His name is being held pending arraignment.
