ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A crash involving a snowmobile left one person with serious injuries Tuesday.
Just before 11 a.m., deputies with the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office were called to 48th Street in Manlius Township for the crash, which involved a snowmobile and pickup.
The pickup had been plowing a private drive when it backed into the path of the snowmobile, which was traveling northbound.
Police say the driver was unable to avoid the truck and crashed as a result.
The snowmobile operator was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, but they were not considered life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
