MIAMI — Former Michigan State University football player Malik McDowell is facing charges of aggravated battery of an officer, resisting arrest, and public nudity near Miami, Fla.
The Cleveland Browns player is accused of walking nude into a children’s learning center in Deerfield Beach and attacking one of the officers who was called to the scene. Police say surveillance footage shows McDowell walking naked down a street in traffic before resting on a curb as cars flow past. McDowell has been released on bond, according to the latest reports.
The former MSU football player has had numerous run-ins with the law since leaving school early to enter the NFL draft. The defensive lineman was selected with a second round pick by the Seattle Seahawks in 2017.
