UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) – Akron scored the last 11 points of the game as they defeated Western Michigan 74-73 and handed the Broncos their seventh straight loss. Ali Ali capped the comeback as he hit the winning bucket with 5.4 seconds left.
B. Artis White scored a career-high 23 points for the Broncos who are now 4-13 overall and 0-6 in the MAC.
Eastern Michigan was held to just 17 points in the first half in a 56-47 loss to Kent State last night. Central Michigan’s game at Buffalo was postponed.
