SPRINGFIELD, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says they found out Wednesday morning that three vehicles were stolen from Henkel Auto Group on Dickman Road in the City of Springfield.
The scene was processed by the Calhoun Area Multi-Jurisdiction Evidence Team (CAMJET).
They determined the suspects arrived in a single vehicle and then got into the building by breaking a showroom window.
They then stole numerous key fobs from inside the building and then used them to auto-start vehicles on the property.
One of the vehicles was used to overrun the fences surrounding the Henkel Auto Group property. The suspects then fled with three stolen vehicles.
Kalamazoo Public Safety recovered three stolen vehicles Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
Two were from the previous night’s larceny, and a third was from a break-in and larceny at Henkel Auto Group that took place in December.
The Calhoun Area Multi-Jurisdiction Evidence Team that processed the scene is made up of officers from the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi Tribal Police and Marshall Police Department.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office at (269) 781-0880 or Silent Observer at (269) 781-0912.
