LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Quarantine and isolation periods for students, teachers, and school staff who test positive for COVID-19 or have symptoms are being shortened by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
They now have to isolate for just five days and can return to school wearing a well-fitting mask for days six through ten if they have improved.
The new guidance is closer to what the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention put into place last month.
