KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – UPDATE 1/11/21 – The victim and suspect in this case have been identified, according to an update from MLive Tuesday.
The suspect has been identified as 43-year-old David Lain. He is accused of stabbing his wife to death, 37-year-old Melissa Lain.
He was arraigned in court Tuesday and denied bond. He remains in custody at this time.
Lain will be back in court on January 26, according to the report.

A Kalamazoo Township man is in custody in connection with the stabbing death of his wife Sunday.
Township police were called Sunday to a residence in the 700 block of Campbell, and found a 37 year old woman who had been stabbed.
Her 43 year old husband, suspected of stabbing her, had fled the scene, and was later apprehended in Berrien County.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, where she later died of her wounds.
Three minor children were found in the house unharmed, and they have been placed with family members.
The motive behind the stabbing is unknown.
