LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The state Liquor Control Commission is urging restaurants and bars to modify their ordering procedures in light of the issues with supply chain shortages.
The commission said in a statement that owners of businesses that sell alcohol should order larger amounts, and put in orders every two or three weeks instead of weekly.
Currently, there are no shortages reported in either product or staffing at the state level, but a spokesperson for the commission said that the measures should aid in insuring that any possible shortages would have a minimal impact.
